Your teen is struggling. Your child is having a hard time. You can see it in their behavior, hear it in their voice, feel it in their attitude. There is anxiety, depression, anger, pain, and maybe confusion. You know they need help. Perhaps your teen seems fine to you but is actively asking for support from a counselor. Either way I can meet them where they are at emotionally and help them at the level, they need assistance.

 

 I work with kids, aged 5 to 18, with mild anxiety and adjustment issues to sever trauma and behavior issues. I have worked with children, teens and families for over 30 years in some form of capacity.  I have had many caregivers tell me they don’t understand what I do but they see big changes in their kids.

I have learned that a good relationship with someone who listens to them, gets them, laughs with them, and is willing to understand their personal language and not give up on them goes a long way towards helping improve the mental health and behavior of children and teens.
